The Power of God’s Word in Our Struggles

The Power of God’s Word in Our Struggles

Good morning, family and friends. As I continue my break from JPCE spiritual talk and Watchdog News, I reflect on Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV), a verse that has resonated with me deeply, especially in moments like this when I feel disappointed, dissatisfied, and betrayed. I feel as if I’ve been left in the dark, and I wonder how anything can operate proficiently without proper communication.

My life often feels like my days in the Army—I’m the workhorse, tirelessly pushing forward without help, rarely seen or heard, just expected to keep going. Sometimes, it feels like I’m doing all the heavy lifting, and the weight can be overwhelming.

But Hebrews 4:12 reminds me that God’s Word is “living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword.” It penetrates deep into our hearts, exposing our true thoughts and intentions, even when we feel lost or burdened. This verse assures me that God knows my struggles, sees my exhaustion, and understands the depths of my weariness. The Word is not just a source of comfort but a tool for discernment and strength, reminding me that God is always at work, even in the silence and darkness.

In Galatians 6:9, Paul encourages us, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” This passage speaks to the challenges of maintaining our faith and perseverance, especially when the road is tough. I wonder if Paul, like us, struggled with the same feelings of exhaustion and isolation. Yet, he urges us not to give up.

No matter how heavy the burden or how lonely the path is, I will never quit serving Christ. His Word is my anchor, my guide, and my strength. Even when I feel like the world has forgotten me, I know God has not. He sees my labor, and He will bring forth the harvest in His time. Today, I choose to cling to His promises and trust His Word, knowing He is always with me, even in weariness.

May we all find strength in His Word and continue to serve with faith and perseverance. God bless you all.

In Christ, love ❤️ Jared W Campbell
