The Bible: Day 14 (Psalm 9:7-12, Matthew 11:16-30, & Genesis 29-30) "Relax, God is in Control"

INTRODUCTION: DAY 14 – "RELAX, GOD IS IN CONTROL …"

We all desire rest, and there are moments when we genuinely need a break. Today, are you at that point where you are sleepy, tired, or just plain worn out from all the stressors of your day-to-day lives? If you answered yes to the above question, then today's readings are for you. Today, Jesus will teach us the importance of coming to Him to find the ultimate rest we need and how peaceful it is to enter God's rest. In today's readings, Jesus says,  Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28)."

SUMMARY:

Jared led a Bible study session focusing on the importance of rest and finding peace in God's control. He referenced Matthew 11:28 and emphasized the importance of seeking divine knowledge. He also led a discussion on John the Baptist and Jesus's interactions with Jewish leaders, highlighting the sin of rejecting Christ after witnessing his works. Finally, he narrated a story about Jacob, who found love and wealth through deception but ultimately found God's blessing.

In Christ, love Jared W. Campbell
