Our Daily Bread: The Book Of Isaiah Study Continued: Walk By Faith:

Shalom,

Good Monday morning it’s September 19, 2021, I pray all is well.

Today's readings and scripture work will cover Isaiah 8, Isaiah 9, and Psalm 120 (121) depending on your version of the Bible.

In the name of the Father and the Son and Holy Spirit. Amen!

Prayer of Enlightenment

Having received this new day as a gift, I thank you, Holy Trinity, for through Your

goodness and patience You were not wrathful with me, an idler and a sinner, neither have You cast me down in my sins. But You have shown Your love towards me and have guided me to keep my daily watch and to glorify Your power. Enlighten my mind to study Your word and open my heart to understand Your teachings in Scripture. Help me to apply what I learn and to praise You with all of my heart and to glorify Your holy name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

“The Lord Shall keep you;

The Lord is your shelter at your right hand.

The sun shall not burn you by day Nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall keep you from all evil;

The Lord shall keep your soul.

The Lord shall keep your coming in and your going out

From this present time unto the ages.”

Psalm 120 (121):5-8

Isaiah 8:1-23: http://bib.ly/Isa8.NKJV

8:1-10: YHWH, uses three different methods to show His prophetic warning to His people: The Book, The Witnesses, and Isaiah’s son, and The prophetess is Isaiah’s wife.

8:11-15: Those who fear YHWH will not know Christ as a stumbling stone when He comes, but those who follow the enemy will fall and be broken against Christ, the “precious cornerstone” reference also (Isaiah 28:16, and Romans 9:33). http://bib.ly/Isa28.16.NKJV http://bib.ly/Ro9.33.NKJV

8:16: The Law of Moses which was given to Him by YHWH, will be closed with the teachings of the Apostles.

8:17-18: The Children are interpreted as Christ’s apostles and disciples, who performed many signs and wonders.

8:19: Let’s look at the Prophet’s question, “Why do they seek the dead on behalf of the living? Luke 24:5 the angel’s triumphant statement to the myrrh bearing women, “why do seek the living among the dead? http://bib.ly/Lk24.5.NKJV

8:20-23: YHWH gave men and women a natural law within them. The ability to choose to do good or evil free will, but instead as humans we chose selfishness. Darkness will always fall upon the souls without the light of the commandments.

Isaiah 9:1-20: http://bib.ly/Isa9.NKJV

9:1-3: The Day of Midian is referring to the defeat of the Midianites by Gideon without the use of any weapons reference Judges 7:9-25: The symbolism of these men prefiguring the apostles spreading the Gospel throughout the world only using the weapons of peace, the preaching of the Cross. http://bib.ly/Jg7.9-25.NKJV

9:5: A child born is speaking of the human nature of Christ our God a Son given unites, His two natures in one person. The Son of YHWH is also the Son of the Virgin.

9:8-10:4: The rest of this runs into the first 4 verses of Isaiah 10, Here the prophet is warning of YHWH’s judgements against Israel’s pride and arrogance and it’s the elders and the prophet who teaches lawlessness. It’s self destruction through civil conflicts and it’s judicial leaders, interestingly we are facing the same thing here in the US. Our collapse is becoming more obvious by the day. “His anger is not turned away” is repeated.

Psalm 120 (121): http://bib.ly/Ps121.NKJV

These Psalm 119-133 are called odes of ascents also known as graduals these worships all about having Faith and thanking YHWH for all He has done for us in our lives.

“Sometimes we just have to WALK BY FAITH, YHWH has shocked me again. After last night YAHWEH's presence in my life is here to stay. He truly understands what we all need, ask you shall receive. Keep the faith, hope and love; our Threefold Cord is all we have to make any real changes. It’s faith, love and hope that conquers evil.”

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

May YAHWEH Bless you all,
