Good Thursday morning it’s September 23, 2021, I pray all is well.
Today’s Readings and Scripture work will cover Isaiah 14, Isaiah 15, Isaiah 16, 1 John 4:9 and end with Psalm 34:8.

Prayer of Enlightenment
Having received this new day as a gift, I thank you, Holy Trinity, for through Your
goodness and patience You were not wrathful with me, an idler and a sinner, neither have You cast me down in my sins. But You have shown Your love towards me and have guided me to keep my daily watch and to glorify Your power. Enlighten my mind to study Your word and open my heart to understand Your teachings in Scripture. Help me to apply what I learn and to praise You with all of my heart and to glorify Your holy name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

14:1-2: Sometime around 586 BC, Cyrus of Persia allowed Israel to return home to their land and rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. The sojourner…..the Gentiles…...will be added to Israel. The Jews, when the Church is established…...Reference (Romans 11:23 http://bib.ly/Ro11.23.NKJV)
14:4: The king of Babylon is compared to Lucifer also known as Satan.
14:12-14: I recall at one point I covered this in another study: Note that Lucifer says I will Five times in this passage. In Lucifer’s own mind he fully intends and believes to take the place of the One True God. Likely the mountains toward the north are those to the north and east of Jerusalem.
14:32: YHWH accomplishes these things in history to show the nations that Zion, symbolic of the Church, has been established by YAHWEH of Israel as a place of refuge where the humble of His people shall be saved.

15:1-7: The night: is a metaphor for spiritual blindness, and Moab is a metaphor for souls lost in a land of complete darkness.
Isaiah 16: http://bib.ly/Isa16.NKJV :
16:1-2: The idolaters of Moab who mocked YAHWEH of Israel have now been taken away, while Mount Zion is a protected rock.
16:4-13: The Moabite outcasts are a type of Gentiles who will abandon their idols to worship Christ. Eusebius interprets the tabernacle of David as the Church of Christ established in Moab, which is now modern day Jordan.
“The Scoffers of YHWH haven’t changed much since the days of the Prophet Isaiah. Today they sing the same song of deception, the scoffers know they are heading to eternal torment. They just want millions to go with them, misery truly loves company but salvation is a gift, redemption is a choice!”

1 John 4:9: http://bib.ly/1Jo4.9.NKJV : In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
4:9: Yeshua Sacrificially gave Himself that we might live through Him, so we are to give ourselves to Him and one another.
Psalm 34:8: Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!
