Our Daily Bread: Crazy and Persistent Faith: Day 10

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. (Ephesians 5:1)

Day 10: Crazy and Persistent Faith:

Luke 18:1-8: Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor [a]regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, [b]‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will [c]avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”

6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

18:1: Persistent and faithful prayer is the remedy for the tribulation just described (see Luke 17:22-37; see also 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

18:8: Will He really find faith on the earth? The Lord often uses this form of question when speaking of characteristics that are rarely found. (reference Luke 11:11; and Luke 12:42).

“Where I come from, crazy is normal and normal is off. But it seems I was meant for this work from The Lord. Being persistent in prayer is what the Bible is all about, Yeshua was everything good, but He was also persistent when teaching, and speaking about His Father in heaven. We should all strive persistently when sharing the Word of YHWH, but remaining patient in love helps bring sinners back to the Lord!”

1 John 3:18: My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. http://bib.ly/1Jo3.18.NKJV

DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER, I truly want to do good toward others. I don’t want to just talk about being good, but I desire to be more compassionate. YHWH (God), I need for You to teach me to be far more sensitive to the needs and sorrows of the people You have placed in my life and to be kind and encouraging toward them. I need for You to teach me how to truly love. I pray for this with all my heart. Amen!”

“I have never heard anything about the resolutions of the Apostles, but a great deal about their Acts.”

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless[a] as doves.
(Matthew 10:16)
Note: Later Today I will post my work and notes for the Ezekiel Bible Study: I will post the Scripture work for Ezekiel Chapters 2-10: I figured this way would work better for those who work at their own pace...
The Father is my hope...The Son is my refuge... The Holy Spirit is my protection... Holy Trinity, glory to You!
The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name... Thy Kingdom come... Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven... Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil...

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever... Amen!

May YAHWEH Bless you all,

Good morning, my brothers and sisters in Christ; I pray all is well. It has been a few days since I have done a study, and this morning's write-up, which draws its wisdom from 2 Timothy 4:3-5 (NKJV),
