Morning Reflection: “Overcoming Tough Times” - Chapter 7 - Faith Moves Mountains” …

Good morning... Great is His faithfulness...

"Overcoming Tough Times"

Chapter 7 - FAITH MOVES MOUNTAINS

1 John 5:4

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—[a]our faith.

We are born again a new creation in Christ and because of this we will overcome the world... it's our living faith gives us victory over this perverse and fallen world...

Our faith is not a sprint but a marathon it's a life of endurance, trials, and even tribulations but in order to maintain in tough times one must live a life of cleansing we will talk more about this later on in our study...

1 Corinthians 16:13

Final Exhortations

13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

"We are called to watchmen and watchwomen to stand fast be brave and be strong in our faith no excuses" ...

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

"It's all about the heart and living a true life of faith not one of going through the motions" ...

1 Timothy 6:12

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

"Confessed the good confession - in order to maintain ourselves in tough times we must live a life of cleansing, repentance and forgiveness this reconciles us back to God" ...

2 Corinthians 5:5-8

Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as [a]a guarantee.

So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

5:5-8: BEING ALWAYS CONFIDENT-(v. 6) in the resurrection means we are being PREPARED BY GOD THE FATHER AND THE SPIRIT-(v. 5) to join the Lord-(v. 8), Jesus Christ:

"Be confident that we walk by faith and not by sight" ...

2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

(v. 7): THE RACE: Greek word: (Strong’s Definitions Legend)

δρόμος drómos, drom'-os; from the alternate of G5143; a race, i.e. (figuratively) career:—course… This is speaking of St. Paul the life and work that was given to him by God …

"Trials are not enemies of faith but opportunities to reveal God's faithfulness" ...
