Talks about the importance of BAPTISM- the sacraments of baptism, chrismation, or the reception of the Holy Spirit, the Eucharist and also ordination.
Acts 11:1-10
See v. 2- THOSE OF THE CIRCUMCISION- they were Jewish Christians who argued that circumcision as well as the rest of the OT Law must continue to be observed even by Christians in order for them to receive salvation- (other sources Acts 15:1; Galatians 2:12). These individuals also advocated separation from the Gentiles.
Acts 12:1-11
See v. 5- this verse stuck out to me the most this morning because it shows the importance and the power of INTERCESSORY PRAYER BY THE CHURCH and others in the Body of CHRIST. This power of prayer is evidenced by Peter's release from prison- (see v. 10).
"Any concern that is too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden."

John 8:21-42
Jesus tells the Jewish people they must enter into a relationship with God. Jesus make reference in v. 38: "I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have [a]seen with your father.” Jesus is letting the religious leaders and the others who rejected Him that their father is Satan because they live in evil deeds and deception. Jesus also tells them we all have spiritual debt- spiritual death being unrepentant and living for evil. The Jews thought that being chosen seeds of Abraham they truly believed that they had no spiritual debt, but this is a lesson for us all we all have spiritual debt if we remain unrepentant. We all must enter into a relationship with God and live being both the salt and light of the world, being part of the world's healing and not part of its discussion. We also see in v. 31 the importance of keeping discipleship going, meaning it's essential to salvation ITV's how we keep the Word going spread it everywhere.
