Good morning. Great is His faithfulness- Christ is in our midst.
Greek Word of the day- †ἐξηχέομαι exēchéomai, ex-ay-kheh'-om-ahee; middle voice from G1537 and G2278; to "echo" forth, i.e. resound (be generally reported):—sound forth. My video was 18:37 long this morning and after further investigation it's clear the Lord has spoken I'm to pursue the "PRIESTHOOD" and it's all in His hands now.
I Thessalonians 1:6-10
6 You followed our way of life and the life of the Lord. You suffered from others because of listening to us. But you had the joy that came from the Holy Spirit. 7 Because of your good lives, you are showing all the Christians in the countries of Macedonia and Greece how to live. 8 The Word of the Lord has been spoken by you in the countries of Macedonia and Greece. People everywhere know of your faith in God without our telling them. 9 The people themselves tell us how you received us when we came to you. They talk of how you turned to God from worshiping false gods. Now you worship the true and living God. 10 They tell us how you are waiting for His Son Jesus to come down from heaven. God raised Him from the dead. It is Jesus Who will save us from the anger of God that is coming.
v. 6- in 1Thessalonians 1- talks about “FOLLOWERS”(or “Imitators”) of Christ also imitate spiritual leaders - PASTORS, BISHOPS - innthis case the APOSTLES - even in the sufferings of doing God’s Work. I have struggled in this area because of my own anxieties but the Lord has spoken, I must complete the process.
Acts 17:1-9- "The Church in Thessalonians"
See Acts 17:4: "And some of them were persuaded; and great multitude of the DEVOUT Greeks, and not a few of the leading women joined Paul and Silas.
DEVOUT- is used here is a synonym of "GOD FEARING" - it was used to designate a Gentile who followed the precepts of the Jewish religion, but had not yet become proselyte or full convert - (can also reference Acts 10:2- Cornelius the Roman centurion).
John 11:47-54- "The Sanhedrin Plots to Kill Jesus"
The high priest Caiaphas prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation of Israel. See v. 51- Caiaphas did not say this on his own authority because God's plan supersedes all human plans.
Psalm 89(90) "A prayer of Moses, a man of God"
This is a morning prayer- it brought me to read from 2 Peter 3:8-9- v. 4 from Psalm 89(90)- talks about "For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday, which passed, and like a watch in the night."
2 Peter 3:8-9: Dear friends, remember this one thing, with the Lord one day is as 1,000 years, and 1,000 years are as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow about keeping His promise as some people think. He is waiting for you. The Lord does not want any person to be punished forever. He wants all people to be sorry for their sins and turn from them.
These words are for all. We are granted more time primarily to grant us fuller REPENTANCE (These words are for all. NUMBERS 6:24-26
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” ’
