Morning Reads: Acts 4:23-31; John 5:24-30; &Psalm 62(63)- “Power in Prayer”- “The Holy Trinity”

Good morning. Great is His faithfulness. Christ is Risen!!!

Greek word of the day- ἡδέως hēdéōs, hay-deh'-oce; adverb from a derivative of the base of G2237; sweetly, i.e. (figuratively) with pleasure:—gladly.

2Corinthians 11:19

For you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise!

Psalm 18.4,1 .

Their voice has gone out into all the earth.

Verse: The heavens declare the glory of God.

The reading is from Acts of the Apostles 4:23-31 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts%204%3A23-31&version=NKJV

vv. 24-30: This was a prayer for boldness, a prayer for power. A prayer of praise and remembrance of God's works, and petition. See signs and wonders in v. 30 are requested, not as ends in themselves, but to give boldness to all those who reach and proclaim THE WORD they speak see v. 29.

v. 31: The Holy Spirit is always at work and is always active.

v. 25: THE HOUR IS COMING, AND NOW IS, WHEN THE DEAD WILL HEAR THE VOICE OF THE SON OF GOD: the dead refers both to spiritually dead, who will find life in Christ, and also to the physically dead, who will rise in the GENERAL RESURRECTION. Christ rises Lazarus from the dead -(John 11:38-44), right before going to His own death on the Cross.

The divine Will is common to the THREE PERSONS of the Trinity- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit- all fully share the same divine nature see v. 30. Jesus obeys the Father, is referring to His human will, which is from His Incarnation. Christ freely aligned His human will in every aspect with the divine will of the Father (see also John 6:38), and we are all called to do the same.

Psalm 62(63) is a prayer of Christ the King v. 12 for me, and v. 11 for the link version, He is instructing His Church in morning prayers. This fallen world is like THE DESERT OF JUDEA see v. 1 which by scripture is DESOLATE, IMPASSABLE AND WATERLESS v. 1 or v. 2 depending on version. See my teaching video for further discussion.

"To worship Him in truth means to worship Him honestly, without hypocrisy, standing open and transparent before Him."

ANNE GRAHAM LOTZ

John 4:24

 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,

And be gracious to you;

26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you peace.” ’
