Welcome back. Great is His faithfulness.

NOTE: Greek word of the day: κἀκεῖ kakeî, kak-i'; from G2532 and G1563; likewise in that place:—and there, there (thither) also.

Matthew 5:23

“Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,

First Reading Isaiah 40:18-31

Isaiah 40:22: It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,

And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,

Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,

And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

The prophet Isaiah is telling us the earth is round 2000 years before science proclaimed the earth was round.

Isaiah 4:31: But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

A good reminder for us all. I needed this today because I was accused of being a complainer and a person who judges others because I made some suggestions that could help possibly relieve the stress of others. Stay the course and continue to pray for those who wrong you.

Second Reading Genesis 15:1-15

"We all can take a lesson from Abraham on what true faith is. Here on out I'm going to work harder just like Abraham because it's our faith that truly makes us well. We all need to establish the same personal relationship that Abraham established with the Lord so long ago.

Third reading Proverbs 15:7-19

"Righteous Responses"

The Lord the Shepherd of His People

A Psalm of David.

23 The Lord is my shepherd;I shall not [a]want.2 He makes me to lie down in [b]green pastures; He leads me beside the [c]still waters.3 He restores my soul;He leads me in the paths of righteousnessFor His name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil; For You are with me;Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil;My cup runs over.6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow meAll the days of my life; And I will [d]dwell in the house of the Lord[e]Forever.
