First Reading Isaiah 45:9-17

It's nothing but foolishness to resist our Creator. Here is a link to the notes I went over in our breakdown of Isaiah 45:9-17. My Orthodox Study Bible didn't have much on Isaiah 45. vv. 9-10: WHAT ARE YOU MAKING: Here is a lesson that is surely clear: CLAY is molded by the POTTER, we do not demand an accounting from our Creator. Second Reading Genesis 22:1-18

"Abraham offers his son Isaac"

The faith of Abraham teaches us that "faith and works" cannot be separated. Faith & works together is showing the compatibility of having a pure heart when serving and seeking our Lord. All friendships whether with family or not require a living and active relationship, how can one know and trust God if there is no standing relationship that is built in trust. Our relationships are built the same way it's our faith and works, our purity of heart that matter. Believing or the belief of God has to be more than just a onetime proclamation by mouth, it's a living active relationship that truly matters. See my video for my discussion.

Third Reading Proverbs 17:17-18:5

"We finished up Proverbs 17 "Family & Friends" and we started Proverbs 18- "Words and Works"

Proverbs 18:4: "A word in the heart of man is deep water, and a river and a fountain of life spring up from it."

A WORD: is Wisdom's (Christ's) instruction in the virtues, and the heart of a man, it is DEEP WATER. Wisdom's virtues in a man are like A RIVER AND A FOUNTAIN, for LIFE SPRINGS UP from them.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

"Belief and believe is more than a proclamation by mouth or a direct statement of belief. It's an active relationship and purity of heart, faith and works cannot be separated. God desires and a living relationship from us all.
