Job 18
According to the notes of St. Gregory, he summarizes the 21 verses here in Job 18 like this. "He sees Bildad's words as being unwittingly directed against the devil."
My perspective is this, I see Job as all of humanity and those who follow the ways of the Lord. And just like Job we all get entangled into the fallenness of this world and at some point, just like Job we will all be put under a test and must endure the painful reality of trials and tribulations. during these intense times we are to hold onto our faith just like Job did and live a righteous and blameless life in Christ our God.
Numbers 6:24-26
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”’
