Greek word of the day- ἀσχημοσύνη aschēmosýnē, as-kay-mos-oo'-nay; from G809; an indecency; by implication, the pudenda:—shame, that which is unseemly.
“Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
James 3:13-18- "GODLY COUNSEL"
We see here in scripture that James leery about us counseling others, because sometimes what is offered as wisdom can be based off pride and other sinful passions. It's true that self centered faith will manifest itself in self centered works, which we see here "helping others." The act of true Wisdom comes from God and is proven itself by action (see v. 13). "SENSUAL" (see v. 15; Greek -"psychike") means unspiritual, and not possessing the spirit of God.
"Good godly counsel comes from a pure heart ❤️ who has no hidden motives or agendas. Good godly counsel shows no partiality, and it's through both they're godly actions and words they shine and reflect the greatness of Christ."
