DAY 37: HOPE IN TROUBLE
John 16:33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you [a]will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Be of good cheer in both the good times, bad times and during the ugly times my definition of ugly times is complete chaos. Our trials, tribulations and afflictions are the things that mold us together building both character and discipline. No struggle than no deification, meaning you can't draw closer to God without this process, and it's done through obedience not disobedience to God. It's through these tests, the Lord evaluates our hearts, because these struggles test the purity of our faith.

DAY 38: TAKE HEART
Matthew 14:22-33: WALKING ON WATER
Peter's faith allows him to walk on the water, but in v. 31 the Greek term for DOUBT, means "Wavering" or "hesitation", Peter's sinking was from his doubt and he took his eyes of the path, the path is Christ. Jesus is showing His disciples and the rest of us that He is always with us in the midst of the storms of life.
