DAY 108: "ONE MAN'S SIN (Joshua 7:13)- "The Process of Salvation Works if You Work it."

Good morning, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

SUMMARY:

Jared led a spiritual discussion centered around one man's sin, using readings from Joshua, chapter 7, and Psalms 101. He emphasized the importance of obedience to God's commands and warned of the consequences of disobedience, as exemplified by the Israelites' failure in battle due to one man's disobedience. Jared also discussed the importance of mediation and purging evil from one's life through repentance. He highlighted the need for the Lord's mercy and judgment throughout the day to fight against the devil and his angels.

Joshua 7:6-15

"Joshua and the elders interceded before the Lord on behalf of the people of Israel, reversing their defeat. Just like in Christ's humility and intercession will reverse the process of sin and death, but the people must respond by working with Him to purge the evil from their midst."

("It works if you work it!!!")

Spiritual Discussion on Joshua and Ministry

Jared led a spiritual discussion, starting with a reading from Joshua, chapter 7, verse 13, and ending with a reading from Psalms 101. He asked those present to pray for understanding and guidance from the Lord. The main topic of the discussion was the concept of one man's sin, which was explored in the context of Joshua. Jared also emphasized serving others in the spirit of faithful ministry.

The Dangers of Disobedience: Jared's Lesson From Joshua 7

Jared discussed the consequences of disobedience, referencing Joshua, chapter 7, verse 13. He emphasized that one person's sin could harm many others, as exemplified by the Israelites' failure in battle due to one man's disobedience. Jared urged obedience to God's commands for blessings and warned of the impact of disobedience. He also read from Joshua, chapter 7, detailing the Israelites' struggle and God's explanation for their failure. The reading ended with Joshua and the elders interceding on behalf of the people.

Humility, Sin, Death and Repentance

Jared discusses the similarities between Christ's humility and intercession and the process of sin and death and how the people must respond by working with him to purge evil from their mist. He explains that repentance is a radical shift from how we used to live, as it involves purging the evil from our lives. Jared also discusses how the Lord makes examples out of those who lie and deceive in the New Testament, such as Ananias and Sapphira in Acts chapter 5.

Mercy and Judgment: A Daily Battle Plan

Jared discussed the importance of starting the day with the Lord's mercy and judgment, as outlined in Psalm 101. He highlighted the need for the Lord's mercy and his daily judgment to fight against the devil and his angels. Jared also emphasized that he would not tolerate wickedness, deceit, or pride and stated his determination in prayer to end these acts of evil. He concluded by affirming his commitment to maintaining a life free from evil.

Intercession and Wealth: A Connection

Jared emphasized the importance of starting each day with the Lord's mercy and judgment and the need for the saints and faithful of the earth to intercede. He referenced Joshua and the elders intervening for their people, highlighting the connection between mediation and wealth.
