Good morning. Great is His faithfulness. Christ is Risen!!!
Greek word of the day- κενόδοξος kenódoxos, ken-od'-ox-os; from G2756 and G1391; vainly glorifying, i.e. self-conceited:—desirous of vain-glory.
Galatians 5:26
Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
Acts 9:1-31- "Saul (Paul) is Converted and He begins preaching Christ"
Acts 9:8: Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.
John 9:39:And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.” This verse sheds light and teachings on how to better understand Saul's spiritual blindness, as long as Saul continued to see things from his own perspective, he would remain spiritually blind. It was on,y by having his earthly vision taken away he was than able to see Christ both in glory and truth. Saul than submits himself to the Church and to baptism.
Acts 9:15: But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles,kings, and the children[a] of Israel. What a beautiful conversion by Saul (Paul)- God selects Saul (Paul), after searching his heart knowing that Saul would freely accept and also have the strength of going the distance and doing the work set before him. See v. 18- SCALES - falling from Saul's eyes indicates all those under the Law remain spiritually blind until they encounter and receive Jesus Christ.
John 6:48-56- Jesus is the Bread of life
This passage explains the importance of partaking in the sacrament of Communion...
John 15:17-27-16:2- The World's Hatred
The world hates both love and truth. Christ brings love, peace and truth and the workday rejects this and chooses to hate Christ and all who follow Him...
"Our yesterdays present irreparable things to us; it is true that we have lost opportunities which will never return, but God can transform this destructive anxiety into constructive thoughtfulness for the future. Let the past sleep, but let it sleep on the bosom of Christ. Leave the Irreparable Future with Him."
Oswald Chambers
Numbers 6:24-26
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” ’
