Our Daily Bread: Yeshua (Jesus) Taught about Enduring to the End: Revelation 2:6-11, Study Continued

Shalom,

Good Friday morning it’s August 6, 2021, I pray all is well! God is great in all He does and His word should be maintained and taught the right way. In this past year I have developed a relationship with our Creator, and sometimes it results in me constantly seeking humility. God’s words are true and no one should ever add or even take away from His words just to fit a certain narrative of deception.

God wants us to share the Gospel it says so in the Bible, but with this sharing comes responsibility. When people decide not to stick to Scripture, I leave or even shut down. We can’t lean just on our own understanding of the Gospel alone, but first seek God before studying His words. I will always stress prayer, fasting & giving because it’s scripture, and that is the true way of Yeshua (Jesus). Yeshua (Jesus) said that we are to love our neighbors as much as our enemies, if your enemies are in need provide for them in love. Yeshua (Jesus) was baptized and stressed the importance of repenting and denying ourselves when following Him. If our redemption was guaranteed then wouldn’t Yeshua (Jesus) on His first day put Himself on the Cross and said let’s do this. His ministry lasted 3 ½ years for a reason!

“Christ our God is on His way back, and there is no stopping this from happening. He is pouring His spirit out on those who will listen to His words. The time is now to get right and build a relationship with Christ before it’s too late. Listen to the words of reason my brothers and sisters, for He is coming! And Light will always overcome Darkness, just keep the faith, and call out to Christ our God!”

Revelation 2:6-11:

2:6: Many scholars believe the Nicolaitians were an early Gnostic sect that tolerated idolatry and encouraged aged fornication. According to Acts 6:5: Some of the church fathers held the founder of this sect to be an apostate Nicholas, one of the original seven deacons.

2:7: The Spirit is the message to the Church and to all Christians: Salvation is victory! He who overcomes will do so by participating in Christ’s victory, of course is salvation. The False Nicolaitan sect, “overcomes”, but remains faithful to Christ until the end, regardless of obstacles and tribulations, they will fulfill the original destiny by man participating in the tree of life (Genesis 2:9). Eat from this tree to receive eternal life, John 16:33, and 2 Corinthians 4:7-18. It’s spiritual food 1 Corinthians 10:3. “Tree of life” is an allusion to the Cross, we must be co-crucified with Christ Galatians 2:20. When we partake in the death of Christ to receive His Resurrection, The paradise of God is Heaven (Luke 23:43; 2Co 12:2-4).

2:8: Smyrna was like Ephesus, very gorgeous city and was extremely prosperous

2:9: The Smyrnan church was extremely poor, maybe due to persecution, but they were spiritually rich. The Jews of the synagogue of Satan could be either Jews in name only, Romans 2:28-29, they compromised their beliefs (John 8:31-47) or it was Jews who refused to embrace the Messiah and His Church (Romans 2:28; Gal 6:15).

2:10-11: The Persecution will be completed in ten days, this is scripture! Christ encourages faithfulness to the end, this is very interesting how often Yeshua (Jesus) refers to us enduring to the end. The crown of life (Php 3:14; 2 Ti 2:5; 1 Pt 5:4). That;s our reward is eternal life if we conquer Christ. Second death, is talking about eternal damnation, the “Lake of Fire” where all the sinners receive their final reward and their final and forever estrangement from God.

“Religion is all about money and mind control, but Yeshua (Jesus) is truly freedom. I chose His ways over the ways of liars and ungodly hypocrites! My redemption outweighs these earthly desires, and so I seek eternal life, instead of eternal damnation due to earthly desires!”

Today’s stopping point for the day this morning I woke up to that message. Even though I grow frustrated with false teachers and false prophets, I pray for their salvation. I pray they see the light soon before it’s too late, and always seek first the Kingdom of Heaven for guidance and wisdom above all other understanding.

Psalm of Thanksgiving

I give You thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; before the angels I sing Your praise; I bow before Your holy presence and give thanks to Your name for Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness; For You have exalted above everything Your name and Your word. On the day I called, You answered me; my strength of soul You increased. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my adversaries, and Your right hand delivers me. The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your Steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. (Psalm 138: 1-3, 7-8)

Closing and Lord’s Prayer

Through the prayers of our Holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on me and save me. Amen!

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen

God Bless You All!
