Our Daily Bread: Isaiah 62-64: The Lord Does Amazing Things In Our Lives:

Shalom,

Good Wednesday morning it’s October 20, 2021, I pray all is well. The Lord is amazing in all he does to help us throughout our journey with Him. For the next 40 days my messages will be to challenge all of you in Christ who are hungry for the Word of YHWH, and to challenge you all to a better way of living.

Today’s Readings and Scripture Work from our Isaiah Bible study will cover Chapters 62-64: Today’s message, readings and Scripture work will cover Isaiah 64:8, and 1 Corinthians 15:58, and at the end I will post information about the 40 day Challenge!

“The Lord is amazing in all He does for us, why a 40 day challenge! Yeshua fasted for 40 days and He was also tempted by Satan during that time. I’m all in for this 40 day challenge, I want to pay my vows day to day to the Lord. he is the Creator and all things were created through Him, and there would be no life, if He wasn’t part of it!”

In the name of the Father and the Son and Holy Spirit. Amen!

Prayer of Enlightenment

Having received this new day as a gift, I thank you, Holy Trinity, for through Your

goodness and patience You were not wrathful with me, an idler and a sinner, neither have You cast me down in my sins. But You have shown Your love towards me and have guided me to keep my daily watch and to glorify Your power. Enlighten my mind to study Your word and open my heart to understand Your teachings in Scripture. Help me to apply what I learn and to praise You with all of my heart and to glorify Your holy name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

62:3-5: Christ's crown beauty is those who keep themselves pure, like the wise virgins waiting for the bridegroom (Matthew 25:1-13). Christ rejoices over His bride, the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

62:6: The guards: according to some of the Fathers are the priests. Others see them as angels who continually guard and watch over the Church.

62:7: The prophecy refers to the Incarnation, when the Son of God takes on human flesh, becoming like us. Similar passages are found in Exodus 15:11; Psalm 85:8; Jeremiah 10:6-7.

62:8-9: Grain and wine are the fruits of righteousness, given to the faithful-both righteous Jews and foreigners in the Holy Eucharist.

62:10-12: The Standard for the Gentiles is the cross, the Savior is Christ, and the redeemed of the Lord are the Church.

61:10-62:5: This passage is read on Great and Holy Saturday

62:10-63:9: This passage is read at Vesper of the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord

63:2-3: Christ is clothed in the flesh of His humanity and stained with the blood of His Passion. Having been crushed by His enemies in His death, He in turn has crushed them under His feet.

63:7-10: Judgement and mercy are bound together, but YHWH’s grace , “mercy triumphs over judgement” (James 2:13). YHWH so loved the world that the Lord Himself saved them. But note how their rebellion grieved His Holy Spirit, causing Him to turn against them.

63:12-14: Moses Prefigures Christ, for just as Moses was raised up to lead the people through the Red Sea, Christ passed through death and was raised up into life, that He might lead all His people from death to life.

63:15: Isaiah begins his prayer for YHWH to remember the inheritance promised to His people long ago with the word return, which is echoed in the final words of Revelation: “Even so, come, Lord Yeshua” (Revelation 22:20).

63:17: YHWH hardened their hearts with His patience. He allowed them to continue in their disobedience. Thus, when the chastisement comes, it will be fully justified.

64:1-3: If YHWH’s presence causes His adversaries to be troubled, how much more will His mercy help those who wait for Him? (1 Corinthians 2:9).

63:11-64:5: This passage is read on Great and Holy Saturday.

64:4: YHWH is angry because sin has caused us to go astray. He will meet with mercy those who do true righteousness and remember Him.

64:5: The filthy rag is a woman’s soiled menstrual cloth. And note it is representative not of our unrighteousness , but of our righteousness! (Romans 3:10, Titus 3:57).

Isaiah 64:8: But now, O Lord,

You are our Father;

We are the clay, and You our potter;

And all we are the work of Your hand.

64:8: The Lord is the potter that holds us together, when we seek Him with our whole hearts He transforms us. The Lord transforms us all and uses us all for His on purpose to carry out His Wills. His purpose for us will be fulfilled if we continue to seek Him.

1 Corinthians 15:58: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

15:58: The doctrine of the resurrection has a practical consequence: It is to move us to do the works that YHWH (God) would have us do, the work of the Lord, because He is amazing and does wondrous things for us all!

40 Day Prayer and Scripture Work Challenge:

DAY 1: Get Ready Prayer is our Foundation:

Acts 10:2: a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave [a]alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always.

10:2 Cornelius prayed regularly to the Lord, he also gave alms generously. Cornelius is a good example of being devoted in prayer. Cornelius was a Roman Soldier and was a Gentile at the time of Yeshua!

DAY 2: Established YHWH (God) in our lives and everything we do and say:

Proverbs 16:9: A man’s heart plans his way,

But the Lord directs his steps.

16:9: When we establish YHWH in our lives He will direct our paths and will make sure we walk the right path. The Lord is there with us step by step to keep our faith and have courage, He will never leave us.

DAY 3: The Amazing Things that YHWH Does in Our Lives:

Joshua 3:5: And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify[a] yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”

3:5: Sanctify ourselves discarding the old and living for the new. A daily life of repentance shunning evil and doing only good will lead us to know the Living God. Once we seek Him, He will change our minds and hearts, leading us to salvation. The Lord is Amazing and Yeshua has truly saved me, I’m here to share that Yeshua is truly salvation.

Note: I started this 40 day Challenge on October 18, and was sharing it with two people, in prayer it came to me to share with all of you, I hope you enjoy the Challenge and the messages!

“Lord, thank you again for providing us with another lesson. Thank You Holy One for being patient with us, and thank You for all the wonderful things You do. Thank You for being our healer, protector and our refuge when things get overwhelming. Thank You for giving us the gift of salvation and providing us an avenue to choose redemption instead of eternal death and torment! Protect us all throughout the day, leading us to salvation, I pray all of this in Your Holy Name. Yehsua Hamashiach, Christ our God. Amen!”

The Father is my hope. The Son is my refuge. The Holy Spirit is my protection. Holy Trinity, glory to You!

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

May YAHWEH Bless you all,
