Our Daily Bread: Introduction To the Book Of Revelation, and scripture work for Revelation 1:1

Shalom,

Good Thursday morning it’s July 29, 2021, I pray all is well.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Glory to You, our God, glory to You!

Opening Prayer of Enlightenment

Having received this day as a gift, I thank you Holy Trinity, for Your goodness and patience You were not wrathful with me, and idler and sinner, neither have You cast me down in my sins. But You have shown Your love towards me and have guided me to keep my daily watch and to glorify Your power. Enlighten my mind to study Your word and open my heart to understand Your teachings in Scripture. Help me to apply what I learn and to praise You with all of my heart and to glorify Your holy name, Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

“God gave us the Bible that foretells our future, but many false teachers deceive many sheep by endless theories! God isn’t a theory but for He is a Living God, and I have felt His presence!”

To understand the Book of Revelation one must realize that to truly understand His words we must submit ourselves in prayer beforehand. The Book of Revelation can be seen in many different ways and I will give you all a background on the Book of Revelation. I promise to stay fair and unbiased and only stick to the scripture work, and I will only make references that make sense. Our Prayer of Enlightenment has already been chanted so let's dig into the Book of Revelation and have some fun understanding God’s word and mysteries.

Author of Revelation: Traditionally, the Revelation (Apocalypse) has been credited to the Apostle John.

Date: Most scholars agree that the book of Revelation was composed during intense persecutions in the latter years of the reign of Domitian (AD 81-96), the Apostle John was also exiled to the Island of Patmos.

Major Theme: Faithfulness in Tribulation! “Revelation” means the uncovering of something that has been previously hidden, in this case the final triumph of the Kingdom of God. The veil will be lifted and the world will see the truth, and the truth is that Yeshua (Jesus) will indeed establish His Promised Land.

Background: Many in the early Church were convinced the Second Coming was near (Acts 2:16-21, Hebrews 1:1, 1 John 2:18). The Apostle John’s vision can be seen as a reminder for God’s Church not to give in to their adversaries, but to keep their faith solid as a rock! Revelation is an interesting read and opens your mind to all possibilities of events that have been predicted to happen sometime in our future. Some Orthodox theologians say that it’s either about future events or the constant struggles of relationships and conflicts between God and His kingdom, humanity and Satan. The Orthodox theologians believe these approaches are not contradictory but complementary, meaning all valid.

We are going to take our time and study the material we need so we all have an understanding of what God is showing us. I will keep saying that we need to study our Bibles through and through because what I learned is this. Sometimes the answer is as simple as using the time to reflect and search the meanings using the Holy Spirit as your guide. Today is only an introduction so I will cover only the first verse of Revelation 1:1: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John. I have put hours of research and prayer into my study and I feel many people have been misled by false teachers. This is why when I study scripture I always start out with the prayer of enlightenment and close with a prayer of thanksgiving and forgiveness. God shows us the way when we ask and He always helps us find the answer if we truly open up to His grace.

Revelation 1:1

1:1: Revelation or Apocalypse means to unconceal, unveil or reveal the truth. Revelation was coded that it must get through to the Church without falling into the wrong hands, God Himself is the ultimate source of Revelation. (Daniel 2:28, 29 & 45). The Son, Jesus Christ Himself (Yeshua) who revealed Himself to the Prophets of the OT, before He became flesh and now is made flesh and who mediated the unveiling. (John 1:18, 4:19-23, 7:16; 8:26, 40; 12:49; 15:15; and 17:8). This Revelation is not meant as a threat but more like a message, a warning that time always expires! The ages to come should be paying closer attention, and this is important from the standpoint of past events that occurred and what’s fixing to occur. The things I must do are telling me about some very dangerous and distressing times ahead of us. Shortly, this is God’s time not ours, and something just hit my heart. “Whoever said the Bible prophecies of the end times were written for a chronological order, but written in parables to throw off the wolves that are always hiding in sheep clothing. We live in a world where deception runs rampant even in ones with itchy ears. It’s time to look around the world. It is never going to be normal, and the veil is being lifted; just stop and take a look but remove your blinders first. Seek first the Kingdom of God, for the times are near, blessed are those who endure to the end.”

John 12-15: This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command of you. No longer do I call your servants, FOR A SERVANT KNOW WHAT HIS MASTER IS DOING: BUT I HAVE CALLED YOU FRIENDS FOR ALL THINGS THAT I HAVE HEARD FROM MY FATHER I HAVE MADE KNOWN TO YOU.

  • I think it’s clear to say we can all determine why Yeshua (Jesus) chose John to write Revelation and made sure the Church received it and was taught it.

  • I believe the Book of Revelation along with all Bible prophecy should be taught more. It should be taught through scripture work only using both the NT and OT in references so it makes sense to many people moving forward. People who teach Bible Prophecy using silly nonsense just trying to make something fit that clearly doesn’t should be run out of those Churches. The Bible makes it clear for us not to accept false teachings and doctrines. Think about what’s being unveiled in our current situation everywhere around the world?

This concludes my introduction into the Book of Revelation. We will take our time and breakdown the scriptures and I will show you what I have discovered all on my own with the Holy Spirit. Take care and God Bless you all!

Psalm of Thanksgiving

I give You thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; before the angels I sing Your praise; I bow before Your holy presence and give thanks to Your name for Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness; For You have exalted above everything Your name and Your word. On the day I called, You answered me; my strength of soul You increased. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my adversaries, and Your right hand delivers me. The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your Steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. (Psalm 138: 1-3, 7-8)

Closing and Lord’s Prayer

Through the prayers of our Holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on me and save me. Amen!

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen

God Bless You All!
