Our Daily Bread: Galatians 5 Study, Liberty of the Spirit:

Shalom,

Good Tuesday morning it’s September 7, 2021, I pray all is well. Today it’s going to be a quick study of Galatians 5:1-26: Liberty of the Spirit, Liberty of the Apostles and War Against the Flesh. I seem to have this overwhelming feeling that the next few months going into the new year is going to be interesting. It seems Walmart's around the US and the world are looking very interesting but some say it’s for remodeling all at the same time? Without any more distractions let's get to today's study of Galatians 5:1-26.

Zephaniah 3:17: The Lord your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Galatians 5:1-6: Liberty of the Spirit http://bib.ly/Ga5.1-6.NKJV

5:1-5: The Yoke of bondage: IS the LAW. It’s the reality of YHWH (God) it’s His rules and His regulations and His law included (1) the requirement of being circumcised; (2) The obligation to obey the entire law; (3) Being justified by the law the constant struggle to establish one's own righteousness under the law. (4) continuing bondage to sin; (5) dependence on the flesh, our corrupt human nature; (6) alienation from Christ and from Grace, which Christ calls labor and being heavy laden, see Matthew 11:28.

The yoke of Christ is the life of the spirit and this includes the regeneration of baptism, and the entire renewal of the entire human nature in Christ. Obedience in Christ and growth in perfection (Matthew 5:48). We are justified by GRACE, YHWH’s righteousness and in return become ours. We also have freedom of liberty from the power of sin, and we have dependence on the spirit, and this gives us access to the perfect and glorified human nature of Christ, finally the union with Christ and the Grace of YHWH (God), this is what Christ calls YOKE, rest for it is easy and light (Matthew 11:30).

5:5: The Hope of righteousness is the Kingdom of YHWH (God)

“Yeshua has given me liberty of my spirit, and He is truly freedom. The more I reach out to Him in prayer the more that is revealed in my heart of the times to come.”

Galatians 5:6-12: Liberty of the Apostles http://bib.ly/Ga5.6-12.NKJV

5:6-12: To fully believe in Christ and follow Him our faith is all about working through love, and anyone who stops short of love, is hindered and misses the message that was done at the cross. The Death of Christ abolished the law, and His Resurrection granted us sonship with YHWH. We are free from the law and must work extremely hard in faith and act of love so we do not turn back to it’s bondage the law, and sin.

“Christ gave the ultimate sacrifice on the Cross to free us from Satan’s snares. Yet many still chose to live and stay in love with the dark. These people have been asleep their entire lives, but He is coming, the Heavens are showing us the signs; look up, our redemption draws near!”

Galatians 5:13-26: War Against the Flesh http://bib.ly/Ga5.13-26.NKJV

5:13-15: Our way of life is in the Spirit, or way is of FAITH and LOVE, and we should express this to YHWH and to one another, we must also avoid at all cost how we judge each other in the things we do.

5:16: The Flesh, and Paul did not mean the body. The flesh is evil and creates evil actions and the flesh was crucified with Christ, and it’s not human nature that is mortified, but it’s evil deeds.

5:25: A walk in the spirit comes from life in the spirit.

“We battle our flesh everyday, the constant struggles to fit in. We fight both our own flesh and the principalities of evil from heavenly places. To win at this constant struggle starts with Yeshua, and allows Him to transform us into the children of light. Christ draws near. I feel it more and more each day, I will endure and overcome the darkness because I have found strength in His words and comfort!”

A Lamp to My Feet

Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in His ways! You have commanded Your percepts to be kept diligently. O that my ways may be steadfast in keeping Your statues! Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all Your commandments. I will praise You with an upright heart when I learn Your righteous percepts. O how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

(Psalm 119:1-7, 97, 105)

May YAHWEH Bless you all!
