Our Daily Bread: DAY 38: Be A Watchman: A Watchdog for Christ, Stubborn Faith...

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and [a]mighty things, which you do not know.’
JEREMIAH 33:3

DAY 38: Be A Watchman: A Watchdog for Christ, Stubborn Faith

HABAKKUK 2:1-4

I will stand on my WATCH, mounted upon the rock, and see what He shall say to me, and what might I answer when I am reproved? And the Lord answered me and said, write the vision distinctly upon a tablet, that he who reads it may flee. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, and it will come up at the end, and it will not be in vain; if he should tarry, wait for him, for he will surely come, and he will not tarry. If any man should shrink back, My soul will not be pleased in him; but the righteous shall live by My faith.

-Habakkuk portrays stubborn faith and despite all his questions to the Lord, Habakkuk has complete faith and confidence in YHWH’s ultimate purposes. While waiting for what surely will be the Lord’s reprimand, Habakkuk is already marshaling his strength to answer back.

-Habakkuk hears and sees YHWH’s response, and the Lord’s response must be written down so clearly that its readers can take immediate action…

-These were tumultuous times, YHWH first commands Habakkuk to wait patiently for His vision to arrive regardless of all the delays: Hebrews 10:37-38 quotes these verses from Habakkuk to exhort its hearers to endure suffering boldly as we await the fulfillment of YHWH’s promises…

-The Apostle Paul quotes Habakkuk to show that we are justified by faith, not by the works of the Law (Galatians 3:11; Romans 1:17)...

“Sometimes the Lord likes when we have stubborn faith...It has to do with obedience to His Words as well as His Percepts, being justified by faith doesn’t mean the works stop...We are justified by our Faith, not by our own works...Our strong and stubborn faith through Him leads us to do good Works in His Holy Name, you can’t get yourself into Heaven just by being good...It’s only through Yeshua (Jesus) that you may see the Kingdom of Heaven, so build your stubborn faith in Him today...We should all be like the Prophet Habakkuk hold the faith, and let Him provide the Works that need to be done!!!

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
PSALM 100:4

My Daily Prayer Journal

PSALM 139:12:

Indeed, the darkness [a]shall not hide from You,

But the night shines as the day;

The darkness and the light are both alike to You.

IT’S HARD, O LORD, to change...To give up that which is desirable to us is like giving up sun-warmed air for mist frost-chilled air...Nevertheless, thank You for surrounding us-even as close as our own backyards-with reassuring message that You have a purpose for everything, even approaching winters…

“This is the hardest step to face when you choose to pick up your cross, to follow Yeshua (Jesus)...The earthly and worldly thoughts are part of our flesh which is weak, even though we might have a strong spirit, we must flip our inverted cross...Like I keep saying Christ is up, Satan is down it’s also backed by Scripture just study His Glorious Words...I’m ending with this the Words of our Lord and Savior is enough to transform you, but you must flip in order to be made whole again so your eyes become open, be awaken, not remain asleep and confused!!!”

The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

May YAHWEH Bless you all,
