Our Daily Bread: Day 24: Find Our Voice in the Lord...

Updated: Nov 10, 2021

For the word of YHWH is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

DAY 24: Find Our Voice:

JEREMIAH 1:1-6: :

Jeremiah Called to Be a Priest

1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, 2 to whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. 3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.

The Prophet Is Called

4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;

Before you were born I sanctified[a] you;

I [b]ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

6 Then said I:

“Ah, Lord God!

Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”

1:1: Jeremiah: יִרְמְיָה Yirmᵉyâh, yir-meh-yaw'; or יִרְמְיָהוּ Yirmᵉyâhûw; from H7311 and H3050; Jah will rise; Jirmejah, the name of eight or nine Israelites:—Jeremiah. Meaning God appoints or exalts...Anathoth is his hometown, within the land of Benjamin…

1:2-3: Jeremiah prophesied during the reigns of Josiah, Jehoiakim, and Zedekiah…

1:5: YHWH’s foreknowledge and His calling are woven together…

1:6: Like Moses before him ( Exodus 4:10), Jeremiah claims he does not know how to speak...As with all the prophets, YHWH put His words in Jeremiah’s mouth (v. 9)...

Exodus 4:10: Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and [a]slow of tongue.

“The Lord of The Most High is our voice...When the time is right He gives us the Words to speak and the Words to write when the time is right...That is something that seems to always be on my heart, I will give You the Words to speak when the time arrives...That is also written in Scripture, to find our voices all we have to do is turn to our Lord and Savior, Christ our God...Seek Him with your whole hearts and minds, Call out to Him, He’s waiting…

And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. Hebrews 9:27-28

My Personal Daily Prayer Book:

Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm;

But how can one be warm alone?

Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.

And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

-The threefold cord may be linked to the virtues of faith, hope, and love… (1 Corinthians 13:13)... 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

-The gifts of the spirit, wonderful as they are, are temporary and incomplete...They are for this age, while we are “Children” (v.11)...But love continues into the age to come:it is eternal, complete and fulfilling…

YHWH, ENCOURAGEMENT through friends and family lifts my heart just as sunshine turns roses skyward. Despite the chill of autumn, may their love inspire me to stretch my soul toward the warmth and nurture of Your radiant affection for me…

-My Personal daily Prayer Book

-The thread of our life would be dark, heaven knows, if it were not with friendship and love intertwined…

Because You have been my help,
Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. Psalm 63:7

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

May YAHWEH Bless you all,

The Trinity

The concept of the Trinity is not directly in the Bible, but as Christians, we can derive it from various passages. In the Old Testament, Genesis 1:26 refers to God, saying, "Let us make man in our im
