Our Daily Bread: Day 21: Set Our Feet In Christ:

Shabbat Shalom...
rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding [a]in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:7

DAY 21: SET OUR FEET IN CHRIST

Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. 5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.

1:3-5: The enemy will be trampled under Joshua’s feet...In a similar way, Christ will trample down sin, death, and the devil by His death and Resurrection…

“My feet are set and I’m dug in...I’m a follower of Yeshua, and only answer to Him…

My Personal Daily Prayer Book (JOURNAL)

MATTHEW 19:16-22: http://bib.ly/Mt19.16-22.NKJV :

Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good[a] Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”

17 So He said to him, [b]“Why do you call Me good? [c]No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

18 He said to Him, “Which ones?”

Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19 ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

20 The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept [d]from my youth. What do I still lack?”

21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

19:16-17: This man does not come to test Yeshua, but to seek advice from one he considers no more than a good teacher...Christ’s response does not deny that He is YAHWEH, but designed to lead the rich man to this knowledge

19:20: Formal observance of commandments does not make one righteous before YHWH...This man had an earnest desire for eternal life and sensed that he still lacked something; thus, he continued to press Yeshua for the answer

19:21: To be perfect, one must willingly sacrifice all and follow Christ... Nothing is gained unless this sacrifice is given freely...The specifics of how one follows Christ will be different for each person...because wealth had such a grip on this rich man, his only hope was to sell and give away all his possessions... St. John Chrysostom tells us that giving away possessions is the least of Christ’s instructions here; following Him in all things is a far greater and more difficult calling

“DEAR LORD, TEACH ME to be generous; teach me to serve You as You deserve; to give and not count the cost...to toil and not to seek for rest, to labor and not seek reward, except that of knowing that I do Your will

-SAINT IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA

"Blessed are You Lord our God who's King of the Universe continue to guide me...Lead me on a path of righteousness and always doing good...Help me to never count the cost or expect anything back when I seek to good in Your Holy Name, Yeshua, Christ Our God...Teach me to continue to serve You and only You give me the strengthen to only answer to You when that times finally comes, O' The Lord of my soul do not forsake me or take Your Holy Spirit from me, I will always do what You ask of me, and sinners will turn back to You...Lord make me a teacher of truth and honor not one for lies and deceit among the sheep...Finally my Lord, My God, my hope, my refuge and my protection grant me the strength and courage to comfort false teachers with both truth and respect... Lord continue to give me the humility to continue to help those who are in need and who are struggling with afflictions of life itself, In Your Holy Name, Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our God...Amen!!!

A Lamp To My Feet:
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His Testimonies, who seek Him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in His ways! You have commanded Your Percepts to be kept diligently. O that my ways may be steadfast in keeping Your Statues! Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments...I will praise You with an upright heart when I learn Your righteous Percepts. O how I love Your Law! It's meditation all the day. Your Word is a Lamp to my feet and a Light to my Path... Psalm 119:107,97, 105

The Father is my hope. The Son is my refuge. The Holy Spirit is my protection. Holy Trinity, glory to You!

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

May YAHWEH Bless you all,
