Our Daily Bread: Continue to search for God with all your Hearts: Revelation 2:1-5: Study Continued:

Shalom,

Good Thursday morning it’s August 5, 2021, I pray all is well.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Glory to You, our God, glory to You!

Opening Prayer of Enlightenment

Having received this day as a gift, I thank you Holy Trinity, for Your goodness and patience You were not wrathful with me, and idler and sinner, neither have You cast me down in my sins. But You have shown Your love towards me and have guided me to keep my daily watch and to glorify Your power. Enlighten my mind to study Your word and open my heart to understand Your teachings in Scripture. Help me to apply what I learn and to praise You with all of my heart and to glorify Your holy name, Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen!

  • Prayer is what Abraham said, “May I presume to speak to the Lord, dust to ashes that I am?” (Genesis 18:27). Yes! You May!

Do we believe exactly what the Bible is telling us that includes all stories, events, parables down to all prophecies, end times and ones fulfilled. I believe what the Bible tells me how God created the heavens and the earth in seven days. I believe we were created and the image of God, and in the beginning was the word and the word was God. The word became flesh and dwelt among us, and gave Himself on the cross the break the curse of sin; giving us the gift of eternal life if we chose to believe and follow Him.

My introduction to The Book Of Revelation Chapter 2 begins with this statement: 1 day is a thousand years and a thousand years as one day to the Lord our God. According to Scripture (2 Peter 3:8; Psalm 90:4; Psalm 84:10).

Timeline Possibility:

Day 1: 1,000 years Adam-Enoch

Day 2: 1,000 years Enoch-Noah

Day 3: 1,000 years Hebrew/Patriarchs

Day 4: 1,000 years Kingdom of Israel

Day 5 & 6: 2,000 years Church + Final weeks (also 3 ½ years of Yeshua ministry)

Day 7: 1,000 years Christ Millennium Kingdom forever

Now I’m not claiming anything, just a man with a Bible who reads it and studies it everyday with the Holy Spirit as my personal guide. I also believe everything in it and I doubt nothing in it so my mind is fully opened to God’s wisdom without biases. I am nothing more than an imperfect man who has been chosen to be a messenger of God. My blinders are off and I’m only sharing the knowledge I have compiled with my walk with God. We find ourselves in strange times, but don’t be afraid it’s all Biblical and part of His plan.

  • Bishop Latimer stated the word will last 6,000 years

  • St Irenaeus said that the Bible is broken up into parts Christ will return sometime in the 6,000 year mark.

  • Sir Issac Newton also said Christ will return in 6,000 years according to the Bible His return is imminent.

  • In the Epistle of Barnabas 15:7-9, Barnabas said ‘In six thousand years all the prophecies will be fulfilled.

Revelation 2:1-5

2:1: The Letters of the seven Churches all follow a similar format: (1) John is commanded to write to the angel of the church. (2) introduction of Christ with the following titles. (3) The State of the Church is being described by Yeshua (Jesus) saying “ I know”, followed by praise and rebuke. (4) Exhortations are given! (5) Message concludes with, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear,” and a special promise to him who “overcomes.”

Ephesus, the provincial Roman Capital for Asia Minor, was a popular, but prosperous city located on extremely vital trade routes. Besides the official cults of Artemis (Diana) and the emperor, other cults seem to have flourished there see (Acts 19). The church was founded by Paul somewhere around AD 53-56, and so to tradition, both John the Apostle and the Virgin Mary (Whom was committed into John’s care at His crucifixion) lived in Ephesus.

2:2-5: The Ephesian Church had preserved in orthodox faith and moral uprightness, but something happened they left it’s first love meaning for God and each other. False prophets and teachers were a huge issue in the early church see (2 Corinthians 11:13-23), St. Paul warned they would not only ravage the church but ultimately divide it the Church of Ephesus (Acts 20:29). In the early second century, St. Ignatius of Antioch praised the Ephesians for their continuing resistance to heresy. The lampstand is more than likely the Ephesians church’s honor as the metropolitan church of Asia.

Today’s stopping point, I continue to pray all is well and God Bless you all! Shalom!

Psalm of Thanksgiving

I give You thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; before the angels I sing Your praise; I bow before Your holy presence and give thanks to Your name for Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness; For You have exalted above everything Your name and Your word. On the day I called, You answered me; my strength of soul You increased. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my adversaries, and Your right hand delivers me. The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your Steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. (Psalm 138: 1-3, 7-8)

Closing and Lord’s Prayer

Through the prayers of our Holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on me and save me. Amen!

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen

God Bless You All!
