Good morning. Great is His faithfulness.

NOTE: Rest in peace Dr. Michael Heiser PhD Theology: Dr. Heiser died February 20, 2023 he was battling pancreatic cancer. I have read a few of his books and work on Enoch and a lot of his work in the OT. His teachings and YouTube channel has led many to find Christ so with a heavy heart it's time for a moment of silence for man who truly walked with God. I was going to pray for him this morning but it slipped my mind, but the Lord reminded me to make this note ...

"TIME FOR RENEWAL"

Ezekiel 36:26

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

"God specializes in things fresh and firsthand. His plans for you this year May outshine those of the past. He's prepared to fill your days with reason to give Him praise."

JONI EARECKSON TADA

Other verses to read - Revelation 21:5, Psalm 94:19, Psalm 51:10-12, Isaiah 43:18-19, Psalm 23 - Luke 7:17-30- John the Baptist's followers inquire about Jesus- 2Corinthians 4:6-15- faithfulness to the Gospel, and the power of an Apostle- Matthew 11:2-15- John the Baptist and Jesus are both rejected.

NOTE:"Seeking our Creator is the ultimate way to overcome all depression and feelings of despair. I use to be a guy who would spend all his time at the VA. I use to believe these people cared and had my best interest at heart. I have learned since then that sometimes help isn't always found with doctors and specialists. The VA made me worse all those prescription medicines and for what they made my health worse and I was gaining weight and seemed further away from God. Since coming to Christ all is better in my life, PTSD is managed and so are my feelings of despair, I give it all to God now. Christ is the Healer and He makes all things better, and by the power of God I have a counselor at the Eugene Vet Center who is a man of God. We help each other every Monday we read scripture together- God is great purse Him and let His words in scripture to affect your heart."

2 Corinthians 4:7

Cast Down but Unconquered

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

The treasure is the light of God's glory in Christ- (see also v. 6); earthen vessels refers to our humanity. As we shine this light through us, than other people will see that the power is of God and not of man. What a good end the time of renewal is now renewal your strength in the Lord today trust Him to lead and guide you through all those storms that arise.

"Walking with God leads to receiving His intimate counsel, and counseling leads to deep restoration."

QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER FROM THE DEVOTIONAL

Big Guy's struggles: I'm struggling with the rise in evil in our world. I'm struggling with those who love living in hypocrisy. I'm struggling with how rude society has become and the lack of courage from those who should stand for good and shun pure evil. I'm struggling with those who still refuse to see my change in the Lord, and lastly my biggest struggle is with false teachers they are everywhere it seems.

Do I believe God can make all things new- including me? Yes I'm a walking testimony of God's greatness.

Do I take time each day to be still and let God give me perspective and direction? Yes absolutely see my video for more discussion.
