Good morning … Great is His faithfulness

“OVERCOMING TOUGH TIMES”

At the end of the lesson I spoke my struggle this morning, The Tyre Nichols beating triggered something in me … I saw beatings like this in Iraq and they were very disturbing when a person is detained there is no need for this type of violence … It’s uncalled for and is ungodly behavior … If you want to hear my struggle and the answers to the questions, please listen to my video, for the next 30 mornings I will share this struggle and how PTSD can be a big trigger for me to deal with … The Lord knows what He is doing, please for pray for me my brothers and sisters in Christ as I work through this problem … In Christ love Jared W Campbell

I read from a devotional – Please see video to get full understanding of this morning’s readings and lesson …

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

God promises by His words that all things work together for good to those who love God – (v. 28) – regardless of it doesn’t matter how big or small our trials tribulations are, God turns them into “light afflictions”, and He has foreknowledge of all things nothing is hidden from His sight … (2Corinthians 4:17, 18; 12:9-10) … For the next month I have created a morning study plan to help us get through the hard times we now find ourselves in, and I will also read from a devotional called “OVERCOMING TOUGH TIMES” …

Romans 8:29-30

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

PREDESTINED must not be understood as overpowering man's free response, for man's free will is a gift from God: Nor does the term apply to individuals: Rather the term- (also translates "preordained") means that God has a specific calling for His people from the before the beginning of the world: Based on His foreknowledge, God assures, or predestines, that those who will choose to love Him will be CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON, THAT IS, GLORIFIED...

JAMES 1:2-3

Profiting from Trials

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces [a]patience.

“No faith without struggle – it’s by our test we learn patience, but truly it’s what brings us closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and it leads to the heart of our Father in heaven …

Psalm 25:12-13

Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall [a]He teach in the way He chooses. 13 He himself shall dwell in [b]prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth.

The fear of the Lord is the first step to Wisdom, when we live for Him He delivers us from all of our afflictions …

PSALM 37:23-24

The steps of a good man are [a]ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.

Our steps are ordered by the Lord, He guides us the distance …

Philippians 2:13

for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

He is always working in those who feely accept Him in their hearts …

Questions to Consider – from the Devotional = “Overcoming Tough Times”

1. Am I really seeking God’s will for my life, or am just going through the motions??? Please see my video for my answers

2. Since I believe that God has a plan for my life, do I believe that He can help me overcome tough times and bring something good out of my hardships??? Please see my video for my answers …

3. Do I regularly ask God to reveal His plans to me, and when I pray, do I listen carefully for His response???

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; 26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”
