WHO IS THE GREATEST??? SEE ALSO (MARK 9:33-37; LUKE 9:46-48)
MATTHEW 18:1-5:
18:1-5: THIS QUESTION IS POINTING TO A SELFISH INTEREST IN WORLDLY POWER: Pointing to a LITTLE CHILD as an example or a model of what true DISCIPLESHIP really is: Yeshua is empathizing the virtues that are required to enter the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN: Humility, dependence, lowliness, simplicity, obedience, and a willingness to love and to be loved!!! (John 6:9)
SCANDALS AND TEMPTATIONS, SEE ALSO (MARK 9:42-48)
MATTHEW 18:6-9:
18:7-6: LITTLE ONES: include all who have childlike humility and simplicity , all who are poor in spirit!!!
18:8-9: SEE MATTHEW 5:29: Referencing to mutilation is an illustration of making extreme actions to avoid sin and does not advocate one bit of a literal amputation!!! read (Luke 14:26; 1 Corinthians 5:5):
FINDING THE LOST SHEEP, SEE ALSO (LUKE 15:3-7)
MATTHEW 18:10-14:
18:10-11: LITTLE ONES: SEE NOTE FOR (v. 6): ANGELS: Early Saints taught that not only saints but we all have guardian angels: Early Saints also taught that angels of the humble people have a greater boldness and greater honor before THE FACE OF GOD because of the humility of the person they guard: It was also taught it's not the nature of God, but the weakness of all, that requires the angels' service!!!
18:12-14: UNLIKE EARTHLY SHEPHERDS: Christ sees such value in ONE SHEEP That He will leave the others at risk to save it: THE NINETY-NINE SHEEP: Represent the righteous who remain faithful to the Lord (Luke 15:7): According to early Saints, "this is also an image of the incarnation in which the ninety-nine represent the angels in heaven; Christ descended from heaven to pursue the one sheep-man-who had fallen into corruption on earth!!!"
DISCIPLINE IN THE CHURCH
MATTHEW 18:15-20:
18:15-20: CHURCH DISCIPLINE IS BASED ON THREE MUTUAL CORRECTION STAGES: Sin and correction are to remain private unless the offender refuses to repent: All correction must be done with extreme care and humility, with the highest concern being salvation of the offender (see also, 1 Corinthians 5:5; Galatians 6:1), nerveless, correction must take place so sin does not spread to others as well!!!
18:17: CHURCH: READ FROM BIBLE, SEE MY VIDEO CONTENT
18:18-20: THE AUTHORITY TO BIND AND LOOSE SINS: Is given to the apostles and transmitted to the bishops and presbyters they ordained: This authority is given for the sake of salvation of the sinner!!!
FORGIVENESS IN THE CHURCH
MATTHEW 18:21-35:
18:21-35: SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN: Symbolic for an unlimited amount: Here the parable is teaching us the need for unlimited forgiveness: TEN THOUSAND TALENTS (v. 24), is an impossible sum, more than a laborer-worker could earn in several lifetimes: A HUNDRED DENARII (v. 28), is a significant amount from an earthly perspective roughly three months of wages: yet it is nothing compared to a debt owed by a KING: GOD not only stays the punishment we deserve, but forgives us the entire debt as well (v. 27): The Lord forgives us so in return we are to forgive others just the same!!!
18:25: SOME EARLY SAINTS GIVE A SPIRITUAL INTERPRETATION TO THE PUNISHMENT DESCRIBED: The man represents the soul, the wife represents the body, and the children represent a person's deeds...Thus, the body and the deeds are given to slavery, that is to Satan, so that the soul might possibly be saved, see also (1 Corinthians 5:5):

MESSAGE ABOUT LEADERSHIP
1 PETER 5:1-4:
The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but [a]willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being [b]lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; 4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
-LEADERS LEAD BY EXAMPLE, CHRIST LED BY EXAMPLE, SO I WILL ALSO LEAD BY EXAMPLE IN ALL I DO!!! I WILL LEAD BY EXAMPLE WHEN HOLDING MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE, AND WILL BE EXAMPLE OF HUMILITY, AND SELFISHLESS- SERVICE, I'M A GOOD SHEPHERD LEAD NO SHEEP BEHIND!!!
