Lying is Problematic in Today's Society! Reading/ Reflections Proverbs 14, 15, 16, & 17:

Shalom,

Good Friday morning it’s June 18, 2021, I pray all is well: Look at that another Friday is fixing to be in the books. Heading into another weekend, I pray you all have a wonderful but safe weekend

. Friday’s readings will cover today as well as the weekend as always. Readings and Reflections Proverbs 14, 15, 16 & 17.

Proverbs 14:5- A FAITHFUL witness will NOT LIE: but a FALSE witness WILL utter LIES.

This stood out to me for a reason and it’s problematic. I deal with this daily in our home and it’s something I’m desperately trying to get my kids to understand. Lying is problematic not only for the thought of seeking justice in a court of law. Rather it’s a reflection of the society we have created and many of us are guilty of not stopping this before it was too late. My kids constantly lie or lie in a form of making up a story. The problem is my children have gotten really good at lying. Many of their stories are believable but once further investigation has been completed the story was an obvious lie.

Our justice system is unraveling because no one is trustworthy including judges and the lawyers. Our Justice system has become politicized meaning justice isn’t about seeking the truth or facts but rather seeking political fame. Justice isn’t for the majority but rather it’s for the minority of crybabies who destroy others and their property. Justice is for the media not the victims, nope justice is for the wicked, and oppression is for the righteous. Our children see that it’s okay to lie and be a false witness. They think this because they see celebrities and political leaders doing it as if it’s the new normal. My fear is this if accountability doesn’t make its way back as an example for us moving forward. The United States including the rest of the world will not make it much longer before it's all chaos! All I see is a society where both children and adults are programmed to lie and utter blasphemies against God anything that stands for good.

“Justice today is for the wicked who do bad, and censorship and oppression is for the righteous & truth seekers!” - Jared W. Campbell

Proverbs 15:1-33 (http://bib.ly/Pr15.1-33.KJV)

Proverbs 15:22- Without COUNSEL purposes are disappointed: but in the MULTITUDE of COUNSELORS they are ESTABLISHED.

Just like our mission in Christ to share the Gospel and sing God’s victories and blessings in our lives. We have the same obligation in society to help bring back accountability and honesty into our communities.

“If we choose not to stand united for a common solution, we forfeit our rights to complain about the issue leading to the solution!” - Jared W. Campbell

Proverbs 16:1-33 (http://bib.ly/Pr16.1-33.KJV)

Proverbs 16:22- Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

We are getting closer to wrapping this thing up but this verse says it all right here. The keys to success always lead to wisdom and understanding; but foolishness leads to chaos and confusion. What children are being taught is having a huge impact in society today. Parents including myself are fighting a losing battle because Generations before mine held their heads in the sand and ignored evil.

“The wolf is growling at the door, and accountability and truth are being purged. The Sheep are now raised for slaughter, and have no spine to stand up, and are too lazy to wake up!- Jared W. Campbell

Proverbs 17:1-28 (http://bib.ly/Pr17.1-28.KJV)

Proverbs 17:17- A Friend loveth at all the times, and a brother is born for adversity.

I thought this would be a great verse to end a Friday with and give us all something to reflect on over the weekend. The times that are ahead we are all going to need special people in our lives who can be trusted. As we move along in the Bible we will see how the prophecies are happening around us this very moment. I feel there are tough times ahead and it’s weighing heavily on my heart this very second as I wrap this reflection up. Today is Friday and the world we see ahead of us is degrading quickly. Remember to always pray for those who love us and even for those who hate us; keep the faith, and never hold back!

“Overcoming adversities isn’t from uttering lies, or going through the motions. Overcoming adversities is done through a strong heart, along with brotherhood or even sisterhood, never back down or making excuses!” - Jared W. Campbell
