James 4:11-12

Do Not Judge a Brother

11 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one [a]Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who[b] are you to judge [c]another?

Belittling others with extreme criticism is another case of pride coming out of what we say. It is also a sign of having a lack of faith that is united with evil works, it's offensive to both the person and to God. God's will is for us to love others with humility and mercy, even if they are totally in the wrong. Even labels are offensive to God because it's the heart ❤️ the Lord searches in us all...
