DAY8: LOVE TRUSTS - (1 Corinthians 13:7) “What do we do if TRUST has been broken? “Uphold Truth”

Welcome back. Great is His faithfulness.

1 Corinthians 13:7

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love bears all things, love handles the daily pressures of burdens, love believes trust and hopes in all things it trusts God no matter what, love keeps looking up because of its hope, it never despairs, and love endures all things , meaning it "puts up with everything" (JohnChr).

"To fulfill our calling, we need other people. God set it up that way. The people we trust, dream with, confess to, and receive counsel from impact who we are. The wrong people can prove disastrous and wreak havoc on our lives." (Day 8: The Chosen devotional, page 43).

For me the process of confession has been broken for me. I no longer have trust or even have the confidence in the way I use to confess my sins. As an Orthodox Christian the process of repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation with God and others is a huge part my faith and my journey with the Lord. Yesterday that was broken, I have gave some suggestions that could possibly help limit some people's stress my attempts failed. Meaning I was taken out of context but for me what lingers is the response received. The Lord however revealed to me this my mission, my calling from Him is this blog, this YouTube, my readings and my studies I share with you all. I have an outlet for confession it's my videos to the whole world if I get only one view than I confessed not only to another person but God Himself.

"I love Christ and I am His, but I do not like or trust religion. Religion is for man, Christ is for true believers those who seek Him, and those who truly deny themselves and pick up their crosses to follow our Lord."

"It's our hearts that truly matters, it's what the Lord will evaluate in the end. Faith and works cannot be separated, the faith of Abraham is our ultimate example of faith, and the Teachings of Christ and the Apostles should always be first. We should always look far beyond ourselves and ask how can I make a difference, but remember our Lord was never passive and neither should we be, passive that is. Stay humble and also direct because the truth matters more than feelings."

Prayer Focus from the Devotional

Thank God for the trustworthy people He has placed in your life. If He is calling you to a new role, there will be A LOT to process and pray through. Ask the Lord for divinely appointed friends with whom you can persevere in faith and share your hope. I need this today great prayer focus for us all, AMEN!!!

Moving Forward Questions from the Devotional

Who do you confide in, dream with, confess to, and receive counsel from? Do they encourage you to know and represent Jesus more? Or does their input tend to wreak havoc on your life? I have a few close friends because my circle is few and that's the best way if you looking for advice on solid friendships. My circle is great with encouragement I'm so blessed to have them all. One avenue I use to pursue for confession that has been broken there is no trust anymore, and the advice I usually got seemed to wreak havoc instead of being positive.

Granted, it might not be as obvious as it was with Mary and Elizabeth, but do you openly share with others the favor of the Lord and what He's doing in and for you? Yes is was explained above.

In what ways do you need to grow in love by protecting, persevering, or providing hope? I need to work on myself some more sometimes my righteous anger can be a lot for even me to handle at times.

In what areas do you need to trust more or become more trustworthy? Trusting is hard to do in a fallen world when it feels many people can not be trusted.

In Christ love Jared W Campbell
