DAY 10: TESTED - The Chosen 40 Days With Jesus - A Special Prayer for My Brother Evan Campbell...

Good evening … Great is His faithfulness …

DAY 10: TESTED

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or [a]principalities or [b]powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

Colossians 1:15-17

There is no clear distinction that is made between Christ as God and Christ as Man, and this verse gives us a good indication of it’s true meaning … Christ is eternally – (one essence) – The image – (Greek word “eikon”, icon) of the Father … Christ as Man is the image of how man was made, and which man is moving towards … It is in both natures, He (Christ) fully represents and manifests the Father … And as God, Christ Himself is THE FIRSTBORN OVER ALL CREATION in that the Father indeed created everything through Him, and as the Oly Begotten Son of God … And as Man, Christ is the FIRSTBORN OVER ALL CREATION in that He has authority over creation … Creation is fully subject to Him – (Christ), and Christ is the only Mediator and Lord of all …

Moving Forward Questions: The Chosen 40 Days with Jesus

1: Do you believe God has designed all the elements composing your tests??? Explain why or why not … We just learned He is the Creator of all, and we are all created in His image … So, this question requires little thought, yes, our Creator has His hand in everything … (Romans 8:28-30): “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified”. This answers this question right here, He predestines all our lives, because He knows the secrets of our hearts … My test strengthens me, and they teach me how to further myself in my progress towards patience and less frustrations …

2: What’s the most difficult test you’ve ever had to surrender to??? My biggest Test was surrendering to Him – (Christ) our Lord and Savior … This path is truly narrow and is extremely hard at times … The Lord asks very little of those who do not follow Him, but ask a lot of those who fully surrender to His Will …

3: Whether you’re in a test now or one is coming, what are some ways you can better withstand it??? Everyday is test, we live a life of blessings and hardships … We are to rejoice when we are blessed, and we are to also buckle up when the test and hardships come out us … We need to also rejoice and our sufferings this also strengthens us in Christ … I’m able to withstand the hardships and tests because I have fully surrender to His Will …

Prayer Focus:

No one likes tests … Ask God to help you not only survive them but to thrive under them and to be drawn closer to Him through them …

Psalm 62 (63): Part of this evening’s prayer focus- drawing closer to the Lord our God …

Psalm 62 (63): Is a prayer of Christ the King – (v. 12): “But the king shall be glad in God; All who swear by Him shall be praised, for the mouth that speaks unrighteous things is stopped … This fallen world is like THE DESERT OF JUDEA – (v. 1): “A Psalm by David, when he was in the desert of Judea” … which is also a desolate, impassable, and waterless land – (v. 2) … The soul that remembers God during the night on his bed will also learn to mediate on Him in the morning – (v. 7) … Such a soul will be filled – (v. 6) and cannot be injured by the devil and his angels – (they, v. 10) …

All Roads Lead to Christ - He is the Word the Creator of all and we are created in His beautiful Image - So yes it all leads to Him - (Christ) …

Christ is truly in our midst

In Christ love – Jared W Campbell
