DAY 40: MISSION- The 40 Days with Jesus - “Help those in Need” - ( Matthew 25:34-40) …

Good evening... Great is His faithfulness...

DAY 40: MISSION

34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdomprepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

(Matthew 25:34-40)

INHERIT is a term that is used in regard to sons and daughters, and is not used to reference strangers or even servants ... The righteous become children of God through adoption- ( Galatians 4:4-7) ...

Galatians 4:4-7

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born[a] of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, [b]“Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir [c]of God [d]through Christ.

Be able to see Christ in everyone is the fulfillment of the greatest commandment Jesus gave us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves- (Matthew 22:39) ...

Matthew 22:39

39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

"Our mission is what we are called to do which is outlined for us in (vv. 35-39), and this means we are to be in step with our Father in heaven doing His Will ... Being children of God through adoption has a special meaning, because our attitudes must imitate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" ...

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,

And be gracious to you;

26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you peace.” ’

In Christ love Jared ...
