DAY 34: PRECIOUS - The Chosen 40 Days with Jesus - (Mark 10:13-16) - Jesus & The Little Children ...
Good evening … Great is His faithfulness
MARK 10:13-14
Jesus Blesses Little Children
13 Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
Jesus disciples rebuked the mothers for bringing the LITTLE CHILDREN to Christ, because during Jesus times little children were considered “unruly”, and they thought the children would “diminish” His dignity as a TEACHER and MASTER – (Theoph) … Of course, Christ rejects this type of thinking, and making the little children as an example of those who inherit the kingdom of heaven …
Mark 10:15-16: Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” 16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
Children are to participate in all the Church has to offer – worship, prayer, baptism, chrismation, and communion …
Isaiah 43:1-4: The Redeemer of Israel
43 But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. 4 Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life.
The Lord Names His people YOU ARE MINE because, He with the Father and the Holy Spirit, created mankind and will assume human nature … Christ will pass through every affliction with us …
Luke 12:6-7: 6 “Are not five sparrows sold for two [a]copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows.
Romans 5:6-8: Christ in Our Place
6 For when we were still without strength, [a]in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
THE UNGODLY are all of us … We all fall short of the glory of God because of sin, everyone stands in alienation from God, and we do not have the ability to become righteous on our own … Because of God’s love, CHRIRST DIED for our sins to bring us the gift of righteousness …

"We achieve child like faith when we repent and receive forgiveness, and after we reconcile ourselves back to God, and make right what we have wronged, and from there go and sin no more - it's our faith that makes us well"
-Jared W Campbell
