Good evening … Great is His faithfulness …

DAY 23: RELATIONSHIP

The Discerner of Hearts

23 Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did. 24 But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, 25 and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.

(John 2:23-25)

What does it truly mean to be a relationship with God and what that look like … Tonight I will share with you all from my own thoughts and from what I have witnessed on my end as a follower of Jesus and His true ways and teachings … What does it feel like to pursue the Lord and His Wisdom, well it’s a constant self-revelation of one’s thoughts, and actions working on a total regeneration … Living a life of constant repentance and making things right with those who may have wronged … It’s a life of constant self-denial, because to truly minister is to serve someone’s elses will … It’s a life of peace that never ends regardless of the good, the bad and the ugly, remember my definition of ugly is the chaos, and trials and tribulations that come to us all, these are just part of life regardless of your spiritual or not … Having a relationship with God is being surprised and blessed all at the same time, because it’s truly the unexpected I cherish the most from our Father in heaven … A relationship with the Lord comes with its own help, He opens the door to us to allow the good people He puts in our lives to gives us good spiritual guidance … What you see in this video is walking proof evidence what a true living relationship with our Father in heaven looks like, may no mistake it’s not about religion it’s a relationship and this what the Lord has been trying to convey as far back as the Old Testament …

Moving Forward

1: Can you think of a time your relationship with Jesus lagged??? Is it now??? Yes, for me it lagged back in August of 2021 when Heather and I got COVID-19, we were both extremely tired from it … COVID, made it difficult for me to pray at times, and I swear to this day we messed with my mental state, it caused me to be more ridden with anxiety less sleep is not good for a veteran with PTSD … But we made it through and got through it even though my prayer time lagged God was still there every step of the way with us … My faith is not lagging today, but we must remember we are in a spiritual fight so we cannot be complacent stay in the Word, and stay in prayer and remember fasting is another weapon to use …

2: What miraculous changes has Jesus made in your heart since you started following Him??? Following Jesus has changed my heart into a more loving, compassionate, and merciful man … Jesus has opened my heart, mind, body, and soul to the truth that love truly conquers all … I have no need for vengeance because I know He will avenge it all in the END, I want to love more and be more compassionate to others each day … Jesus has helped to put first the ones who are always last, and He has given the strength to stand for what’s truly right and stand against what’s truly wrong … Jesus has helped to be fair in all situations, meaning to be impartial and none bias …

3: Moving forward, how can you embrace heart changes over physical ones??? Heather said it’s harder to make changes of the heat than it’s to make physical changes … This true because our flesh is weak, but our Spirit can be stronger by the works of how each of us live … “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” – (Galatians 5:25) – Live by example imitating Christ and all who as ever walked in His steps, we embrace our heart changes by continuing the route the Lord has chose us all for … For me, it’s my blog – JPCE Spiritual Talk, it’s my studies, my prayers, and reflections, because that is my heart, and God reflects that, I’m pretty sure I have summed up on how to build the ultimate relationship with our Father in heaven …

Prayer Focus:

Thank God for the relationship He offers and ask Him to not leave you alone so you can be closer to Him as often as possible …

PSALM 140 (141)- Part of this evening’s Prayer Focus …

Numbers 6:24-26

24 “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; 26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”

In Christ love Jared W Campbell
