Acts 10:1-48 Summary and Generation 2434 (Matthew 24:34 (KJV) Verse of the day Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)

I pray all is well. Yesterday was our Easter, and if many of you are not aware we are Greek Orthodox. Yesterday I posted a reading from Acts 10: 1-48, and I wanted to give a quick summary of why I chose that reading. Later on I will also discuss Generation 2434 and some of those theories that surround who the final generation could be. Let’s get to it and let's have some fun discussing God’s word and messages he is trying to tell us.

Acts 10 1-48 Scripture Breakdown (Orthodox Study Bible New King James Version)

(10:1) With this chapter, a whole new period in Church history begins. Gentile Conversion of Cornelius is a dramatic turn in the right direction. (10:2) “Fearer of God” even good people like Cornelius needed God. (10:3) The ninth hour is 3pm, one of the traditional hours for liturgical prayer for both Jews and early Christians. (10:7) Cornelius’s obedience to God shows the true state of his heart for a true believer. (Matthew 7:21, Romans 2:13, and James 1:22). (10:9) The sixth hour is 12:00 noon, a traditional hour for liturgical prayer. (10:14, 15) Peter’s resistance shows difficulty with Jews letting go of Jewish laws. God’s commandment here is first a declaration that the old covenant dietary laws are fulfilled and thus no longer in effect (Mark 7:19). More importantly, this vision revealed that the Gentiles, who were considered unclean by the Jews, are now cleansed by the Blood of Yeshua (Jesus Christ). Finally it teaches us that we are accepted into the Kingdom of God through Christ. (10:30) The ninth hour a man in bright clothing signifies an angel. (10:33) Cornelius and those with him are eager to hear, for faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17), and faithful and devoted people still need to hear the Gospel. (10:34-43) Peter’s focus is on saving work and power of Yeshua (Jesus Christ), his death and Resurrection, and how he fulfilled the word spoken by the Old Testament prophets. (10:35) Justification is not merely a one-time event, but a dynamic, ongoing process, In addition to faith, two conditions are given here: God accepts whoever fears him and works righteousness. This does not deny justification by faith, but demonstrates clearly that justification is not by faith alone (James 2:24). (10:38) It was his humanity that Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit, for Christ possessed the Holy Spirit from all eternity before incarnation. Note also the core faith in the Trinity: God the Father together with his son Jesus and the Holy spirit, the salvation for mankind. (10:44) The giving of the Holy Spirit prior to baptism is something the church had not seen before. This unusual occurrence is a sign that God has accepted the Gentiles, and that baptism is not to be denied to them. (10:48) To be baptized is important, see Cornelius believed and in return he received the holy spirit.

Generation 2434 “Fig Tree Generation” (Matthew 24:32-35, Mark 13:28-31, & Luke 21:29-33

Matthew 24:34-35 Assuredly I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away. (24:34) This generation refers to believers at all times, the generation of the church, and not merely to those alive at the time of Christ. Now both Mark and Luke say the same things, but I wanted to give some other references you can all turn to for more verification purposes. Hopefully some of you recall me talking about Israel and how important they are to pinpointing the second coming of Christ. My old videos on Israel are still up so any of you can go back to maybe review. Israel became a Nation on May 14, 1948 (Jeremiah 30:1-31:40, Amos 9:14-15, Isaiah 43:5-6, Isaiah 11:12, Ezekiel 37:12, Deuteronomy 30:3, Isaiah 66:8) these refer to prophecies of Israel becoming a state or Nation. In Psalms 90:10 the bible refers to a generation of being seventy years and not exceeding 80 years. On May 14, 2021 Israel will turn 73 years old as a Nation. Things are heating up over there but it has always been a shadow war for sometime now. We have global riots, food shortages and pestilences; we also have global financial troubles and stocks. Weird weather all over the globe along with earthquakes and different places not normally known for these such events. People are more confused and driven into fear due to disinformation and propaganda. Remember once I said Israel is God’s bellwether, his stopwatch, where it all started and where it will all end.

Jerusalem was recognized as the capital by the Trump Administration on May 14, 2018. I have stated the importance of the commonality between the two; they are symbolic, and pay close attention. I read an interesting theory the other day, someone said could May 14, 2018 be Generation 2434? Interesting right so let’s play with it here for just a second, we see things pretty bad now. Does America really have another 70-100 years, and so the rest of the global communities, what do you say? We could, I’m not God and not dogmatic just being a good watchman bringing forth the messages. Things are getting worse not better as of now so I have no idea who generation 2434 is but whoever it is, how many more warnings do you need to get right. But Jeremiah 6:17 reminds us that a watchman will be sent, but many will choose not to listen to the watchman.

In closing, I chose Acts 10:1-48 to show the importance of the sacrifices Christ made for us all. The conversion of Gentiles only sealed the deal paving the way for all us to be true believers in Christ. The story shows that no matter what we are all cleansed through the blood of Christ, and everyone deserves redemption and repentance of their sins. The “Fig Tree Generation”, “Generation 2434” or even the “Final Generation”, has been put on my heart to share. No one knows who this generation is, but Revelations 1:1-20 might paint us a clearer picture, but I will stop there for today. I will pray for you all to have an outstanding day and will pray it is a blessed day for you all. Like always, “The things meant to be, will always find their way.” Watchman: Isaiah 21:6 For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.

Podcast will start back up when things slow down...

Verse of the day: Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (KJV)
